Origin: Tongham, Surrey, England
A tasty lager from a brewery named after the gentle rolling hills of Hog's Back; a picturesque ridge of gentle Surrey countryside once frequented by Jane Austen.
Hog's Back has done some great work here. A really nice lager, slightly hoppy and very fresh. It's non-pasteurised (as you would have on cask) which makes a real difference. Shame more bottled beers aren't.
And a friendly giant pig (with the brewery on it's back of course) strolling across the label. Bright orange and kraft. Beautiful big type. What's not to like?
