Marketed as a Belgian Trappist ale but not a proper Trappist ale (look for the badge), it's still decent brew and cheap - less than a quid at my local Lidl. At that price point I feared the worse but it's not too bad at all. Lots of flavours and depth as you'd expect from a Belgian beer.
The label is odd though. It's heavy on the foil with a little weird heron sitting quietly, front and centre. It looks more like artwork you'd expect promoting a pulp novel / Triad casino / creepy sex club and as result a bit (unintentionally) hipster.
Still...it looks quite cool, albeit cheap and crappy (or ironic?).
