Origin: Burton-upon-Trent, West Midlands, England
Whilst the beer hasn't changed that much - a decent, if uninteresting bitter - the label has undergone a redesign in the last year. Whilst the previous incarnation of this label was staid and uninspired, Marston's to their credit have looked to bring in a bit style and story here - with a chap on stilts plucking hops from lofty heights. Although the distressed effect is a little passé now.
One thing drinkers may have noticed is bigger breweries like Marston's taking more time and effort over their artwork - no doubt triggered by some of the great artwork coming out of the smaller craft brewery competitors. That can only be a good thing, especially looking back to only a couple of years ago (see here).
