It's a charming bit of romantic blurb which may account for my affection for this brew. It feels a little softer, fizzier and less chewy than a standard present-day Guinness. If you're a Guinness purist perhaps you'd be offended but I found it quite enjoyable. Certainly more palatable than the tongue-furringly chewy export.
